The actual simulator rules
A ball starts at signed position zero with a hidden initial wind chosen left or right with equal probability. Before every step, including the first, independently flip the current wind with probability one quarter. Then independently follow that wind with probability three quarters, or take the opposite direction with probability one quarter. Repeat for twelve steps. Raw score is final signed position squared. One whole captured stake covers this correlated path.

Captured settings and the persisted wallet
A new browser wallet starts with 1,000 free virtual coins. Settled balance and fractional-credit carry persist in localStorage. Reload does not replenish settled funds; clearing cache may leave localStorage intact. Fractions accumulate before whole coins are credited.
